AWS Marketplace is changing the way AWS customers discover, deploy, and pay for software. Any AWS customer can easily find software on the AWS Marketplace website, deploy it immediately, and be metered for usage that appears directly on their AWS bill. Buyers can quickly buy the software they need and sellers have access to millions of customers of AWS.

The AWS Marketplace team is looking for a technical product manager to drive the roadmaps for a variety of buyer experience projects. This role is critical for our ongoing business growth. You will define the experience for launching new features to enable buyer to streamline their business through AWS Marketplace. You will work across AWS to identify the needs of service teams looking to build a selection of 3rd party products and build an experience capturing the required attributes.

Our goal is to make AWS Marketplace the easiest place for our buyers, sellers, and channel partners to transact. Your decisions will impact the way that buyers interact with our systems. You will also be an ambassador to the rest of AWS about how to think about our business. You will be the voice for both our capabilities and the features we have yet to build.

Please note that this position can be based out of any of these locations: Seattle, Bay area, Austin, Boston, Atlanta, Arlington/DC, New York City, Jersey City, Vancouver, and Toronto.

On this team, you will own the definition, execution, and delivery of systems related to discovery and evaluation. Your responsibilities will include engaging with existing buyers, sellers, channel partners, and internal AWS service teams. You will have to identify requirements, defining product features, and working closely with development teams to deliver those features, including drafting our go-to-market strategies. Successful applicants will have experience defining products, leading cross-functional teams, and communicating to a large number of stakeholders. You will also need to learn about capabilities from internal teams and be able to communicate effectively to all levels of the company, both in writing and in meetings.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • BS or BA in computer science, engineering, math, finance, or economics
  • 5+ years of product management, program management, and/or finance experience in a technology focused business
