Sr. Product Manager, Supply Chain Programs

Amazon is looking for a talented Senior Product Manager to support the EU Supply Chain Programs commercial team. Supply chain programs is a strategic initiative for Amazon with long-term business impact and high growth YoY. The team owns all vendor facing supply chain programs, a corner stone of Amazon's strategy to innovate on behalf of our customers. It incorporates a suite of programs including but not limited to Direct Imports from manufacturing sources, Pan EU Distribution Services, Amazon's Dropship and Vendor Flex program. We cover strategic, commercial, planning and ordering aspects of the business and work closely with vendors and various operations, compliance teams internally, across the globe. The role focuses on conceptualizing and building decision tools, work systems, global process mechanisms and reengineering work processes that enable long-term scale for the commercial development, negotiations processes and vendor onboarding and engagement of these programs. This position will need collaboration with and from multiple stakeholders internally and externally across commercial, operations and technology workstreams. You will have a unique opportunity to demonstrate both strategic vison and implementation rigour of the products you develop /manage that will be the one stop shop for the SCP commercial organization engaged in driving vendor adoption of EU Supply Chain Programs. The ultimate goal is to allow Amazon's vendors to discover the benefits of Supply Chain Programs and unlock efficient opportunities through self service solutions.
The successful candidate possesses good business knowledge across commercial and business process work streams and has a proven track record of strong project delivery of tools, process reengineering and stakeholder management led by deep analytical and process orientation. The position requires an individual who can work autonomously in a fast-paced, highly demanding and often ambiguous environment. Additionally since this position involves working with multiple stakeholders in a fast growing opportunity within supply chain programs, the candidate should possess strong stakeholder management capabilities and ownership with great bias for action in getting things done themselves.
You will proactively engage technical teams to define and scope the necessary tools and workflows to be developed that drive automation and result in faster, seamless and more efficient end to end processes. You will work closely with retail teams in 6+ European locations as well as with our partner teams in US and China to define internal mechanisms that will drive efficiency of the Vendor Management and commercial organization. You will leverage existing best practices, develop consistency wherever possible and will engage with our offshored business partners, who will implement many of the solutions you are defining. You should be experienced in working with complex, multi variate interdependent processes, large data sets, be tech-interested and have an ability to work independently and convince teams across Amazon to support your ideas. Your business acumen and understanding is a critical skill that will allow you to develop tools and mechanisms around commercial processes and strategies.
This role is based in our EU Headquarters in Luxembourg. • Experienced in project and program management 5+ yrs
