Sr Product Manager Marketplace

Amazon Marketplace is looking for an innovative, data-driven and creative product manager to lead one of the categories and its initiatives in Mexico. Our mission is to work backwards from the end-to-end shopping journey to improve our customers experience. Your interactions and relationships will span a broad group of stakeholders and functions. You will be an authoritative voice of the category you are selected for and be considered a go-to subject matter expert by senior stakeholders and other team members. You will lead thinking around the category and develop the next generation of its strategy and roadmaps.

Note: We are running a general recruitment process for Product Manager and the category will be define at the end based on experience and priorities. Some of the categories are: Fees, Promotions, Lending

Your key responsibilities:
- Working backwards from the customer to determine the insights / vision, in particular to improve Amazon's perception in the category.
- Drive innovation by supporting the business on key strategic initiatives to build long-term customer trust
• Creating program goals and related metrics, tracking progress and managing through obstacles/blockers to achieve your objectives.
Liaise with our technical pricing teams to continuously improve how pricing systems work for our business
• Support Businesses in taking informed decisions through deep analytics

• Bachelor's degree in business, economics, engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 6+ years' retail/e-tail experience
• 8+ years' experience developing strategy and managing project roadmaps;
• Excellent communication skills in English / Spanish
• SQL experience; experience with data visualization tools a plus


• MBA or advanced degree
• Ability to think strategically while delivering detailed execution.
• Ability to interpret large amounts of data and make sound business judgments and recommendations
• Ability to bring innovative ideas and work hard to implement them through collaboration with multiple teams.
• Broad awareness developed in a fast-moving environment.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills ability to use hard and metrics to back up assumptions and recommendations.
