Sr. Product Manager

The Product Manager will support a rapidly growing global AWS Custom Pricing Operations team. This candidate will specifically partner with Sales, Marketing, Global Business Operations, legal, Commerce Platform, Accounting, and Finance to automate all the custom billing for customers that are done manually today. The candidate must possess the ability to understand business requirements and processes to continue to create an accurate and efficient automated billing process for both internal and external customers globally. Ingenuity and the ability to think outside the box will be a must in this highly ambiguous environment. The candidate will be responsible for defining custom billing requirements globally, evaluating and improving standard operating procedures around billing automation and data integrity. They will be passionate about their work, self-motivated, detail oriented and have excellent problem solving skills. The ideal candidate will have superb communication skills, and will be able to communicate complex analytical results, both written and verbally, in a clear and easy to understand manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Produce detailed requirements for all billing automation opportunities
  • Identify gaps in billing process and overall process improvements that will increase a positive experience to our end customers
  • Drive and work with technical and business teams to deliver the best customer billing experience globally
  • Coordinate and manage user acceptance testing including creation of test cases
  • Ability to assess customer and business impact across functions globally when new products and offering are launched and implemented on AWS Commerce platform
  • Translate complex business requirements into functional designs or specifications
  • Oversee comprehensive testing of systems changes and development of standard operating procedures and process documentation
  • Foster constructive and proactive communications across functions
  • Identify, assess, track and mitigate risks at multiple levels
  • Partner with colleagues to develop processes and systems that are scalable
  • Identify and communicate risks to stakeholder including defining risk mitigation strategies

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of Product management experience with Business Analysis skills
  • Superior analytical and problem solving skills
  • Proven ability that shows how to organize, find solutions, and follow through to a successful conclusions specifically using technology and building consensus across diverse teams
  • Extensive hands-on experience working across multiple disciplines, presenting findings to an executive audience and publishing findings in written format
  • Strong verbal/written communication and presentation skills, including an ability to effectively communicate with both business and technical teams
  • Highly innovative, flexible and self-directed
  • Results-oriented person with a delivery focus
  • Handles multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
