The Specialty Retail Stores (SRS) applies Amazon's 20+ years of e-commerce experience to build physical stores (e.g. Amazon Books, Amazon 4-star, Amazon Pop-Up) that integrate the benefits of offline and online shopping. We're looking for a passionate Sr. Product Manager to help us continue to blend the online and offline shopping experience. You will be part of the SRS Omnichannel and CX Product Team which owns products such buy online pickup in store, digital subscriptions (e.g. Audible, Music Unlimited), and device trade-ins. Our team builds experiences that integrate Amazon physical stores upstream into .com. It is a highly complex space that engages across all of Amazon's physical store formats, and has a significant impact on the P&L and customer experience.
As a Sr. Product Manager you will own the strategy and execution of omnichannel shopping experiences for our store formats, answering tough questions such as how our physicals store need to evolve to exceed customer expectations and feed the flywheel. You are responsible for defining and owning the roadmap, and will partner closely with a dedicated tech team to deliver on your roadmap. The role requires a deep understanding of customer needs and thinking big about how we can make the customer shopping experience across online and in-store retail easy and delightful.
You will define how customers discover products at our stores and how to integrate with critical shopping moments. You will drive programs that bridge online and offline retail, delivering exceptional customer experiences that increase engagement and conversion. You have a track record of exceptional performance and love working in a dynamic, ambiguous, fast-paced environment in which managing multiple projects and priorities is the norm. You dive deep and like the complexity of systems but drive simple, innovative solutions for customer-facing experiences. You have excellent judgment and high standards. You are an articulate, persuasive communicator and a good writer. People trust and respect you and they like to work with you. You are eager to pioneer new experiences, putting the customer first and challenging current experiences.
• 5+ years product management or related experience.
• Experience launching at least one start-to-finish consumer-facing online/mobile product or service
• Bachelor's degree required.
• Passion for customer experience, and proven ability to identify and implement UX best practices
• Superior analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to influence both senior leadership and peers
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment where tactical and strategic initiatives are driven in parallel.
• MBA or equivalent experience strongly preferred.
• Experience in offline retail preferred but not required.
