SR Marketing Manager Business Intelligence & Consumer Insights for Office Products

The Amazon Office Products team is seeking a customer-obsessed marketing and analytics superstar to lead business growing marketing initiatives in both B2C and B2B online retail sales platforms.

Position Summary:

The Sr. Marketing Manager is responsible for the gathering and evaluation of both quantitative and qualitative data, including traffic, to find key actionable insights about consumer shopping behavior to drive growth driving business decisions. In this, the manager must also own simplification of the mining process and share relevant insights with the team regularly via weekly and monthly business reviews. The Sr. Marketing Manager is also responsible for business intelligence, evaluating competitive models, finding opportunities for Amazon to improve and build bridges with new customers. The individual in this position serves as the Office GL Site Merchandising Manager, leveraging resources within the department to schedule and optimize content. As part of this, the Sr. Marketing Manager is also the hands-off-the-wheel (HOTW) lead, ensuring HOTW tenets are adhered to and facilitating the future onboarding of the GL to new platforms with improved automation capabilities. Additionally, this person is responsible for marketing associated with the Amazon Certified program including strategy, cross-functional coordination, reporting, metrics, and quarterly updates. Finally, this roles serves as the business lead for DRS, SEO and Prime Video discussions.

Basic Qualifications

  • BA/BS Required
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products
  • Deep understanding of online advertising strategies, A/B testing, and funnel-based acquisition models
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • 3-5+ years of experience managing online customer experience, merchandising, and marketing strategies, or other relevant experience that highlights your ability to deliver results, learn new skills, and emerge as a leader
  • Proven track record of managing and optimizing online traffic growth from multiple sources including, direct traffic, SEO, search marketing, banner ads, affiliates, mobile, and email
  • Competence with SQL (basic queries), proficiency with HTML, XML, Excel, PowerPoint, and ability to learn Amazon's in-house technology tools quickly
  • Willingness to roll up his/her sleeves to execute on the plan and perform the quantitative analysis necessary to inform future decisions
  • Strong time-management skills. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, and to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously. Composed, poised and professional demeanor
  • Ability to think and react in a high-energy, fast paced environment
  • Strong organizational skills including prioritizing, scheduling, time management and meeting deadlines
  • Relevant experience in retail or e-commerce and/or experience working with large Consumer Electronics manufacturers desired

Preferred Qualifications

  • Undergraduate in Business or Marketing
  • MBA
