Sr. Marketing Manager, Automation

At Amazon we are building a world class last mile operation, significantly complimented by Amazon Flex. Amazon Flex works directly with independent contractors called delivery partners to make deliveries to our customers. With Amazon Flex, partners act as their own boss. They can build their own schedule and choose from different types of opportunities (scheduled-ahead blocks, instant offers), all while making great earnings. Amazon Flex is powered by a mobile app that works in concert with our advanced systems, allowing partners to sign in, grab an offer for a time, check out a map of the location, and more.
The Sr. Marketing Manager, Automation will serve as the product owner for the marketing technology (martech) stack, with a vision for integration and automation. Current and future technologies include communications and email systems, mobile messaging systems, recruiting tools, content management systems, SEO tools, and automated advertising. The technologies are owned and built by multiple product and technology teams, as well as third parties. The person in this role will be dedicated to defining the short- and long-term strategy for marketing automation across the tools, representing the marketing team's requirements, making trade-offs based on data and customer needs, and ensuring delivery of the technology roadmap.

Responsibilities:
• Build a deep understanding of how marketing uses its tools, and serve as the primary point of contact for the marketing team's technology requirements
• Provide expert guidance on the marketing technology industry, its vendors, and emerging data tech trends
• Set up scalable and reliable ways to measure success as part of every product and feature launch
• Maintain and grow expertise in global industry standards, technologies, partner and competitor companies' strategies
• Make connections across the teams that are building solutions, identify where we have gaps or redundancies, influence leadership to streamline solutions, and define mutually beneficial goals
• Ensure seamless execution of the martech strategy

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree
• 7+ years of experience in martech product management
• Experience with end to end product delivery
• Experience overseeing product roadmap strategy and execution
• Understanding of Agile development processes and best practices

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Working familiarity with marketing automation and CRM solutions (e.g. Adobe, Marketo, Salesforce, Pardot), ad operations, and/or ad serving technologies
• Highly developed and polished written and verbal communication skills
• Strong project management skills and experience, including managing stakeholders and multiple projects at once
• Experience working cross-functionally and leading through influence
• Demonstrated ability to interface with all levels of the organization
