We're looking for a dynamic, experienced, organized, self-starter to join our Costa Rica Human Resources department as a Senior Human Resources Manager (Sr. HRM).
This role serves as the HR Leader for all Consumer, Corporate and Devices businesses in Costa Rica. Given the multi-site responsibilities of this role, it goes beyond just leadership and is accountable for setting the direction of the team as well as aligning HR strategy, policies and programs across these different business groups. This role is also responsible for working with key HR support teams in corporate in order to build awareness and advocate for Costa Rica.
Given the distributed nature of the businesses, the HR Leader regularly partners with HR Line Leaders from the different organizations, taking the diverse business and HR priorities and aligning them with Costa Rica policy and goals. The role leads on-the-ground generalist support with local expertise, and supports consistent employment practices, policies, and employee experience across business lines.
The ideal candidate will be able to play both a hands-on and strategic role, providing Human Resources leadership and expertise in areas such as Employee Relations, Coaching/Development, Compensation, Conflict Management, Organizational Development/Design, and Employee Engagement. This person will be instrumental in initiating and driving HR programs and initiatives within Costa Rica, and will coach business leaders who develop innovative solutions and champion Amazon's culture and values. He/she works closely with leaders to build customer obsessed teams and continuously help find, grow and retain the best talent available.

We are seeking experienced Human Resources leaders who can diagnose problems as well as identify and drive appropriate solutions. The role will require the ability to establish HR priorities and operating mechanisms to drive change along with the ability to interface effectively with leaders at all levels. Excellent communication skills and data driven analytical thinking are required. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast paced and innovative environment where multiple priorities compete for limited resources.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
A Bachelor's Degree is required with a minimum of 8 years of experience in multi-national HR Leadership roles. The ideal individual will have demonstrated experience supporting employee populations in large enterprise environments.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Master's Degree in HR or MBA preferred
Experience working with technology, retail and/or product teams
Experience in executive coaching
Strong Project/Program Management Skills
