Amazon Fresh Stores team is seeking a customer-obsessed Sr. Program Manager with proven program management experience and a strong track record of delivering results to own and execute highly strategic launches. Experience in project management and a drive for process improvement are key requirements for the successful candidate.

The Role: As a Sr. Program Manager, Launch, you will focus on launching Amazon Fresh grocery stores from start to finish. You will use a combination of outstanding leadership, thought clarity, analytical skills, cross-functional partnership, business judgment, and strategic thinking to innovate on behalf of our customers. The Sr Program Manager is passionate about continuous improvement, partnering with diverse cross-functional teams to develop the processes and mechanisms that will enable us to achieve our business objectives.

The Sr Program Manager will have a proven track record of owning and delivering world-class experiences to customers. You will be asked to help develop, execute, and deliver on detailed plans, working closely with real estate, store development, operations, tech, supply chain, finance and category teams . You will drive multiple projects simultaneously, defining timelines and communicating on status, risks, and process changes. You should be comfortable with a high degree of ambiguity and operating in a rapidly evolving and changing landscape. You will need to thrive and deliver results in an ambiguous, fast-paced, dynamic business environment, operating in all levels of the organization.

This position is available in Arlington (HQ2), Seattle, Nashville, Los Angeles or Austin.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• 6+ years of experience in product or program management, owning and driving end-to-end development of complex, large scale programs from early-stage concept to customer-facing launch, across diverse stakeholder teams
• Able to prioritize complex deliverables, understand and discuss technical concepts, manage trade-offs, and run large meetings with technical and business leaders
• Excellent verbal and written communication skill
• Ability to cut through noise and collaboratively drive teams to focus on value add solutions
• Excellent analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to use data to manage metrics, drive large scale process improvements, and implement business case
• Think strategically and execute methodically with an eye for tactical details
• Thrive in a fast-paced environment where continuous innovation is desired
• Successful track record working with other teams within the company, using a high degree of influence and a relationship based approach to achieve results.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Physical retail experience
• Understanding of physical retail fundamentals across store development, supply chain, operations, category, and technology
• MBA degree
• SmartSheet understanding
