Sr. Instock Manager

The Amazon US Consumer Electronics organization is looking for an instock manager for their Audio and Accessories GL. Candidates should possess a proven record of driving operational process improvements and thought leadership in inventory planning and operations.
The instock manager will have end-to-end business ownership of all supply chain processes from manufacturer to customer. They will be responsible for establishing and driving inventory management strategies to maximize customer experience, while optimizing sales, margin and turns. They will use data to influence key decisions and business partners, as well as build sustainable and scalable systems & processes. The instock manager will play a critical role in delivering optimal customer experience by ensuring Amazon has the right product quantities, in the right places, and at the right time. To achieve this mission, they will work to continuously optimize the end-to-end supply chain by partnering with the vendor management team and, at times, working directly with vendors to improve instock metrics. Through their SMEships, the instock manager will work cross-functionally across the CE Entertainment org and with Amazon central teams to drive system and process automations that are sustainable and scalable.
The successful candidate is a highly organized self-starter, an effective team player, a critical thinker who has sound business judgement, and someone who possesses strong data extraction and analytical capabilities. They are able to self-manage competing priorities and possess strong written and verbal communication skills. Strong candidates will have knowledge in fundamental business principles and previous relevant experience. The ideal candidate is able to lead and influence both internal and external teams in an ambiguous environment while maintaining a customer-centric philosophy.
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Statistics, Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain or Engineering.
5+ years of professional experience influencing internal and external stakeholders.
Strong business judgment, written and oral communication skills, and a practical, common sense approach to getting things done.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects - prioritization, planning and task delegation.
Experience working with large and complex data sets to drive business decisions
Track record of delivering results and an ability to operate both strategically and tactically in a high-energy, fast-paced environment
Proactive attitude and willingness to roll up sleeves and dig deep to achieve high level goals
MBA/Master's Degree preferred
7+ years of experience in inventory planning, operations, retail, consulting and/or finance, with a history of owning/driving results
Demonstrates creative problem solving by adapting frameworks or existing best practices to solve problems in a unique way.
Proven ability to manage large and complicated projects with experience leading cross-functional projects and teams
Strong proficiency in analysis tools including Microsoft Excel, SQL, and statistics software.
Ability to influence and inspire action in others, regardless of organization reporting line
