Sr Human Resources Business Partner

Project Kuiper is an initiative to launch a constellation of Low Earth Orbit satellites that will provide low-latency, high-speed broadband connectivity to un-served and under-served communities around the world.
We are seeking a Sr. HR Business Partner to support this high visibility, growing business within the Amazon Devices and Services organization that has produced groundbreaking devices like the Kindle, Fire tablets, Fire TV, Fire phone, Amazon Echo and Ring. You will own development of full-service HR operations for a unique entity, focusing on developing and delivering end-to-end HR support in an innovative environment that is outside of Amazon's current space. This includes partnering with business leaders to shape the talent, workforce, and total rewards strategies as well as operational processes and systems needed to support unique business models and build an environment where employees can develop, contribute and thrive.
To be successful in this role, you must understand Project Kuiper's business priorities and translate them into an HR agenda. You will help business leaders look around corners with data-driven recommendations for innovative programs as well as iterate on current programs to improve performance, retention and the employee experience.
You must have the ability to see patterns, diagnose issues, and recommend and develop both immediate and long-term solutions and mechanisms. This role will require you to roll up your sleeves and engage on a hands-on basis. High business acumen, manager coaching skills, excellent communication are essential. Finally, you must be able to balance competing priorities and conflicting opinions in order to facilitate the best decisions for employees and the business in a start-up environment with high ambiguity and rapid change.

• Bachelors degree
• 6+ years of experience in an HR business partner leadership role
• Experience in a high tech global matrixed environment
• Project management experience
• Strong business acumen and ability to work well across different functions in order to integrate HR and business strategies
• Exceptional listening skills and ability to relate to, influence, and coach employees of all levels in the organization
• Able to travel domestically and internationally, as appropriate
