You will be part of a team that solves systemic issues, drives changes back into development and builds mechanisms to scale and operate our infrastructure at the Edge. As a member of the AWS Hardware team, you will work with other subject matter experts in compute, memory, storage technologies to develop and deliver the best customer experience in cloud computing.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • BS degree in EE, CE, or CS
  • 5+ years of relevant work experience with server compute/storage platforms
  • Background in issue reproduction, system log analysis, low level debugging
  • Excellent problem solving skills; ability to simplify and innovate


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience with deploying and operating hardware and applications at scale
  • Experience with server validation and issue root causing
  • Experience with server technologies: BIOS, BMC, signal integrity, memory, storage, PCIe, thermal
  • Proven results oriented person with a bias to action
