Do you want to play a crucial role in building Business Intelligence solutions that improve safety and deliver great customer experiences in Last Mile? We are looking for an analytical, data-driven self-starter to join the Service Level Standards team. Our team designs and builds the metrics that Delivery Service Partners (DSPs) use to manage their business, motivate their drivers, improve safety, and deliver great customer experiences.

You will create the roadmap and build new safety metrics and dashboards for a rapidly growing business to improve the safety of Last Mile deliveries. You will be responsible for customer-facing safety analytics reporting and tools and ensure accuracy, quality, and timeliness. You will build robust technical and analytical solutions for both internal and external stakeholders. Key responsibilities include:
• Create new powerful visualization tools to analyze Last Mile safety metrics
• Execute the business intelligence safety analytics roadmap and regularly review priorities with stakeholders
• Build and deliver high quality data architecture to support business analyst, data scientists, and customer reporting needs
• Create new metrics to manage a new and rapidly growing business
• Invent tools that focus on automation and scaling
• Lead QA and User Acceptance Testing of new data and metrics
• Partner with engineering teams to define business requirements for technical infrastructure and gain alignment across partner teams
• Continually improve ongoing reporting and analysis processes, automating or simplifying self-service safety analytics for customers
• Lead complex data analysis and maintain regular metrics reporting to help stakeholders gain insights into the program

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• BA/BS in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, or related field
• 5+ years of relevant work experience in analytics, data engineering, business intelligence, or related field
• Experience building data visualization tools in Tableau or equivalent platform
• Advanced skills in SQL, data modeling, ETL development, and data warehousing
• Experience with a scripting language (e.g. Python or JavaScript)
• Familiar with SQL, EMR, Python and Spark
• Advanced ability to draw insights from data and clearly communicate them to the stakeholders and senior management as required

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Master's or PhD degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, or related field
• Both technically deep and business savvy enough to interface with all levels and disciplines within the organization
• Advanced analytical and quantitative skills; knowledge of SQL, advanced Excel skills and BI development in Tableau (or equivalent BI platform)
• Experience working in a fast-paced and ambiguous environment.
