Software Development Test Engineer - New Initiative

DESCRIPTION

We are looking for high caliber Software Development Engineers in Test to start a project with strategic significance and high exposure. In this initiative we will tackle some of the most intriguing problems in software architecture design and building highly scalable services.

This role requires deep technical expertise, excellent leadership skills, and ability to hit the ground running. You will be responsible for solving algorithmically complex problems, front end and backend services that can scale to millions of requests and deployed globally delivering an exceptional customer experience. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

2+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• Programming experience with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C# including object-oriented design
• 1+ years of experience contributing to the architecture and design (architecture, design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and current systems.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field
• 3+ years of software development and testing experience
• Experience with at least one modern object-oriented programming language such as Java, C++, or C#
• Computer Science fundamentals experience in data structures, algorithms, and complexity analysis
• Experience building test plans and designing test cases including knowledge of test methodologies

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience building test plans and designing test cases including knowledge of test methodologies
Experience working with development and business teams to communicate problem impacts and to understand business requirements.
• Creativity and initiative to improve product test coverage and effectiveness
• Strong verbal and written communication skills - including communicating cross-functionally and across management levels
• Experience with Android, IOS or other mobile application development or testing is a plus
• Experience with API automation testing including unit test automation frameworks
• Knowledge of industry standard test automation tools and experience developing product test harnesses
