Software Development Manager

AWS has the most services and more features within those services, than any other cloud providerfrom infrastructure technologies like compute, storage, and databasesto emerging technologies, such as machine learning and artificial intelligence, data lakes and analytics, and Internet of Things. AWS Platform is the glue that holds the AWS ecosystem together. Whether its Identity features such as access management and sign on, cryptography, console, builder & developer tools, and even projects like automating all of our contractual billing systems, AWS Platform is always innovating with the customer in mind. The AWS Platform team sustains over 750 million transactions per second.
AWS Identity enables customers to manage authentication, authorization, and governance in the AWS Cloud. These services enable customers to securely manage and audit access to their AWS accounts and infrastructure anywhere along their AWS Cloud journey. With AWS, customers can use purpose-built identity, directory, and access services to help them easily and securely migrate existing workloads to the AWS Cloud and build new cloud-native applications.
We are a part of AWS Identity and focus on building developer productivity tools and solutions that are used by teams across AWS Identity. The primary area of our focus is to build tools and services that provide operational insights into Identity services. Security and scalability are key requirements when developing our tools as they are expected to consume and manage data and metrics from critical AWS services like IAM. The perfect candidate will be an experienced people manager who also possesses strong technical knowledge in Infrastructure automation, system architecture, and development.
Here at AWS, we embrace our differences. We are committed to furthering our culture of inclusion. We have ten employee-led affinity groups, reaching 40,000 employees in over 190 chapters globally.
