You operate at both strategic and tactical levels you can you create and drive a vision while still being able to dive deep enough to help a software engineer reason through causes of a memory leak. You are an innovator, influencer, and problem solver you demonstrate solid technical judgment, effectively communicate goals, and drive a fast-paced organization to deliver results with a focused yet pragmatic approach to your business.
Who you'll work with:
CTPS is a global team that consists of software engineers, data scientists, product managers, and investigators among other disciplines. You'll be required to work across these disciplines in order to partner effectively on creative solution for complex business problems. As a group, we hate building stuff that doesn't work out the way we'd hoped, so before we invest in large production systems we quickly validate our thinking with small experiments or more limited production launches to test our ideas.

The leader for this space will be focused on creating safe ways to take, promote, and record actions that enable Amazon to limit its exposure to bad actors while promoting healthy Customer engagement in the process. Taking durable actions is a mission critical aspect to our machine learning evaluation pipeline that has a direct impact on our Buyers, Sellers, and risk investigation teams.

• 7+ years of relevant engineering experience
• Experience in partnering with product and program management teams
• 3+ years of people management experience, managing engineers
• Experience being or closely interacting with machine learning scientists or applied data scientists
• Experienced with applying machine learning to solve business and software problems.
