Our work has tremendous impact and influences customers' ordering lifecycle and builds customer and Seller Trust in Amazon. The goal is to enable customers to feel confident in making purchases from Amazon 3P sellers similar to Amazon Retail on Amazon storefront.
We are looking for a highly motivated Software Development Manager with strong leadership skills to help build our vision and improve systems to cater to ever increasing scale. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related technical discipline
  • 7+ years of experience as a software developer
  • 3+ years of experience managing people
  • Experience developing and executing a software roadmap
  • Experience managing front-end, back-end, and services-oriented software systems
  • Experience leading highly-skilled software engineering teams
  • Experience building teams and recruiting software engineers
  • Knowledge of professional software engineering best practices for the full software development life cycle
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills, with excellent problem solving abilities.


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Deep hands-on technical expertise; prior experience as a software developer or software development manager preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex technical information in a clear and concise manner to a variety of audiences
  • Ability to handle multiple, competing priorities in a fast-paced environment, navigate ambiguity and delivery incrementally.
  • Experience with researching latest big data, data processing and visualization technologies; designing, implementing and supporting an analytical data infrastructure/applications providing ad-hoc access to large datasets and computing power.
  • Ability Work with other technology teams to extract, transform, and load data from a wide variety of data sources using SQL and AWS (Amazon Web Services) big data technologies like EMR, Glue, Kinesis, Redshift/Spectrum and Athena.
  • Experience designing software architectures for scalability, reliability, and performance.
