With Amazon FSx, in just minutes you can provision a Lustre parallel file system that can process massive data sets at up to hundreds of gigabytes per second of throughput, millions of IOPS, and sub-millisecond latencies. As an engineer on Amazon FSx for Lustre, you will design, build and operate petabyte-scale distributed file systems. Partnering with your team, you will be solving challenging distributed systems, systems programming, and networking problems using the latest hardware technologies AWS has to offer. You will be a key contributor to the future direction and growth of the service. You will be part of a team of highly productive and action-oriented professionals as we architect and implement the next set of features and functionality. Work/Life Balance
Our team puts a high value on work-life balance. Most days, our entire team is co-located in the Boston office, but we're also flexible when people occasionally need to work from home. We generally keep core in-office hours from 10am to 4pm. About half of us come in earlier and the other half of us stay later.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • 2+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
  • Programming experience with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C# including object-oriented design
  • 1+ years of experience contributing to the architecture and design (architecture, design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and current systems.
