The OpsHR A To Z team team is reinventing how Amazonians manage their work life. Are you ready to take on the biggest opportunity you ever had fun solving?
• 2+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• Programming experience with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C# including object-oriented design
• 1+ years of experience contributing to the architecture and design (architecture, design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and current systems.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or 8+ years of equivalent professional or military experience
• Experience building scalable software with distributed systems.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities in an engineering environment in driving operational excellence and best practices.
• Able to solve difficult problems with ambiguity.
• Pushes for information to avoid solving the wrong problem and mitigate risks early in the process to avoid feature delays.
• Can decompose a problem into clear software design actions.
• Can articulate the risks and benefits of depending on libraries, frameworks, and tool-sets.
