In the process you will have the opportunity to work on a number of industry leading AWS services including EC2, S3, DynamoDB, Kinesis and SWF. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• 2+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• Programming experience with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C# including object-oriented design
• 1+ years of experience contributing to the architecture and design (architecture, design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and current systems.
• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• Programming experience with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C# including object-oriented design
• 1+ years of experience contributing to the architecture and design (architecture, design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and current systems.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience developing massively scalable systems and knowledge of AWS infrastructure highly desired
• Knowledge of professional software engineering practices & best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations
• Graduate degree (MS/PhD) a plus
• Computer Science fundamentals in algorithm design and problem solving
• Computer Science fundamentals in data structures
• Computer Science fundamentals in systems design and networking
• Strong expertise in C++
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate in team settings
• Ability to mentor team members as well as build relationships with business and technical leadership.
• Collaborates well with a diverse team
