We are looking for passionate and curious engineers to innovate with us on behalf of our customers. In this role, you will work with our senior engineers to design and implement systems that orchestrate thousands of databases. You will build web service APIs and workflows that make a platform keeping Aurora Serverless highly available, reliable, scalable and fast. This is a unique and rare opportunity to get in on the ground floor within a fast-growing AWS service, have an impact on the product direction and the shape of the cutting-edge database technology.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field or four years of related experience in the software field.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Java, C, C++, C#, Scala, Python, JavaScript
• Ability to work in a diverse team
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Ability to write clean, well-structured and maintanable code
• Good understanding of software engineering practices
• Experience with distributed systems and/or storage technologies
• Good verbal and written communication skills
