We are hiring experienced software development engineers to build out a next generation digital video pipeline. Are you passionate about data, able to problem solve and drive a quality customer experience? In this role, you'll design and develop services that will drive localization of catalog using Machine Translation and Speech to Text technologies at Amazon scale on a mission critical global platform.

Basic Qualifications

  • 1+ years experience with Java, C#, or C++
  • Working knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and object oriented design
  • Working knowledge of design patterns
  • Knowledge of REST and RPC service patterns and other client/server interaction models
  • Strong working knowledge of operating system fundamentals
  • Relentless customer focus
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with mission critical, 24x7 systems
  • Experience with high throughput, multi-threaded systems
  • Experience implementing and consuming large scale web services
  • Experience with big data and machine learning technologies
  • Masters degree in Computer Science or equivalent
