Amazon

Software Development Engineer

Seattle, WA

DESCRIPTION

AWS recently announced it will be leading an open-source fork of Elasticsearch and Kibana, in order to ensure open source versions of both packages remain available and well supported.
We're looking for individuals to join this effort. Much of the work is software engineering, and there is also a need for front-end development, technical writing, user experience design, community engagement, and many other roles.

Participation can take many forms. As a community-driven project, multiple companies and individuals will share responsibility for directing and contributing. AWS, as one of those contributors, is looking to hire a variety of full-time roles dedicated to developing, enhancing, and supporting these open source projects. These are unique opportunities to develop open-source software in a customer obsessed, highly collaborative team-oriented environment, while leveraging the resources of Amazon.com (AMZN), one of the world's leading internet companies.
