Software Development Engineer

Arlington, VA

DESCRIPTION

Remote work is available, as long as You are within driving distance of the Amazon Office
Want to develop a customer-facing, business-critical AWS service? Amazon WorkMail is hiring Software Development Engineers to help us build new interfaces and features for our secure, managed email and calendar service.

On the WorkMail team, you will have the chance to learn all the ins and outs of the cloud as you build for a growing AWS service that is itself built on the AWS stack. For our service, teams build everything from browser-based user interfaces, to APIs and wire protocols, low-level storage and search technologies, message routing and anti-abuse technologies, and more.

If you have experience in, or interest in, mail messaging protocols and concepts, building applications in multiple languages, and building for client-side and server-side, and a sense of pride and ownership in what you work on, including a willingness to support it, we want to talk to you.
