We are seeking a Software Development Engineer who will develop, launch and operate new systems that will serve the needs of employees worldwide. They will deliver a new system and set of services that will be at the core of building a new way of working at Amazon. A strong candidate will have experience with building systems/applications at enterprise level.
The right candidate will be one who is able to operate independently; driving their day to day work as well as long term goals. They will be passionate about delivering extensible solutions, being part of a high-performing team, and be relentless and innovative in solving problems.
• Programming experience with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C# including object-oriented design
• 1+ years of experience contributing to the architecture and design (architecture, design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and current systems.
• 2+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• Familiarity with AWS services
• Experience developing ML and predictive analytical services
