Amazon Product Knowledge is looking for an experienced full-stack engineer to help us make the world's best product catalog even better. Our vision is to create a best-in-class knowledge management system, to power delightful experiences on Amazon's retail website for our customers across the globe. The tools and interfaces used by Amazon's information scientists are critical to that mission, and we need your help to build and reinvent that experience.

Product Knowledge at Amazon is core to every aspect of the retail shopping experience, powering key functions such as search and browse for shoppers and the product listing experience for third-party sellers. You will work directly with multiple engineering teams, UX designers, and an international team of ontologists and taxonomists to build interfaces for visualizing and modifying ever more detailed product data models. You will design and build the distributed systems to handle data at scale and with low latency. Along the way you will gain experience with the up-and-coming field of knowledge management that is used to power digital assistants like Alexa. You will have the opportunity to lead high impact, challenging projects that will influence the technical strategy of the whole organization.

Our team is pushing forward the state-of-the-art for enterprise tools. We have built tools, components, patterns, and guidelines for streamlining and standardizing front-end development that are increasingly being adopted across the Amazon Catalog organization. We have autonomy and flexibility on our tech stack, which has allowed us to adopt popular industry trends like React and GraphQL ahead of many of our peer teams. We are pioneering new solutions for Native AWS-centric development within Amazon Consumer. Come join our team to help us innovate further - we're excited to see what you can do.
