The AWS Billing team operates the systems that maintains the product catalog, meters usage, and computes costs. Our customers are AWS product teams who need to collect revenue for their services, AWS customers who need to know what services they have used, how much they cost, and AWS business teams who need to analyze revenue. Our systems meter billions of records per second and produces bills representing billions of dollars of IT usage. Because we sit at the intersection of AWS service teams, sales, and legal, and interact directly with our strategic customers, we establish relationships with teams across AWS to ensure that we offer a secure and reliable customer experience.
Our Principal Product Managers-Technical are responsible for end-to-end product ownership. You are expected to dive deep into the technology from both a product and customer perspective. You will also roll up your sleeves and work directly with engineering teams and billing analysts to help build and operate the features and services that you have defined. You will create and track metrics to define the success of your services and build data-backed cases for your decisions.
