AWS Commerce platform is looking for a Senior Software Engineer with prior experience in working with massive scale distributed computing. You will help define the system architecture, own and implement specific components and help shape the overall experience. You'll collaborate closely with product managers, architects and other SDE team members to help define the scope of the product.
You will take responsibility for technical problem solving, creatively meeting product objectives and developing best practices. You will demonstrate cross-functional resource interaction to accomplish your goals. You will play a role in defining processes and methods to improve the productivity of the entire team.

• 4+ years of professional software development experience
• 3+ years of programming experience with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C# including object-oriented design
• 2+ years of experience contributing to the architecture and design (architecture, design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and current systems
• Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science or related field
• 5+ years of experience building large scale distributed applications
• 5+ years of experience in writing code using C++ or RUST
• 3+ years of experience in writing code using C# or Java
• Proficient in writing secured code
• Test driven development
