Amazon WorkSpaces spans a wide range of technologies, including streaming protocols, massive desktop fleets, SDKs/APIs, web consoles, and multiple client endpoints. The right candidate will be comfortable serving as a technical leader across multiple engineering teams, driving important architecture changes to deliver high quality, scalable, fault tolerant and resilient solutions to our customers.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • 4+ years of professional software development experience
  • 3+ years of programming experience with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C# including object-oriented design
  • 2+ years of experience contributing to the architecture and design (architecture, design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and current systems


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor Degree or equivalent years of experience
  • 6+ years industry experience building large scale software applications
  • In-depth understanding of Computer Science fundamentals in object-oriented design, data structures, algorithms, and problem solving
  • Experience building VDI solutions.
  • Experience building fully managed, cloud native products
  • Experience building client applications
  • Experience with large scale web services
  • Management of large scale enterprise applications
