Senior Product Marketing Manager, Amazon Games

DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a Senior Product Marketing Manager to work alongside our development partners, franchise and central marketing teams to drive the successful launch and live service of our titles to be released in Japan. You will lead go-to-market and live game marketing planning, formulating best-in-class campaigns in partnership with the franchise team and other cross-functional marketing owners. You will have responsibility for driving strategy and the tactical execution of the go-to-market plan to reach targeted KPI goals including those associated with: consumer awareness, user acquisition, sales, retention, and MAU in Japan.

Key job responsibilities
• Build innovative marketing campaigns that engage & acquire players, grow the player base and drive ongoing campaigns throughout the Live Service.

• Perform competitive analysis and work with the research team to identify and understand audience insights and trends.
• Create strategically-driven product marketing plans and oversee the execution of the tactical components of that plan.
• Work closely with Global marketing teams to coordinate support for global go-to-market initiatives.
• Own the end-to-end process for managing marketing tasks including those related to CRM, performance, brand campaigns, and events.
• Initiate project briefs for developing content across our owned, paid and earned marketing channels including: brand artwork and logo, style guides, digital ad banners, gameplay trailers, product websites and other promotional assets.
• Maintain a shared marketing calendar to ensure updates are effectively communicated and all cross-functional teams have visibility into upcoming campaigns.
• Work closely with Product Management and the franchise team on the product roadmap.
• Collaborate with the Performance Marketing and CRM teams to oversee KPI goal setting, and acquisition funnel metrics.
• Track and report key campaign metrics and analyze learnings to inform future success.
• Manage the product marketing budget for allocated titles, ensuring costs are fully and accurately tracked & reported.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• 5+ years of video game marketing experience building go-to-market plans and overseeing execution across multiple platforms (PC, Console, Mobile)
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, independent, organized and proactive; highly responsive, flexible, and adaptable.
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing or an equivalent combination of experience and education
• Japanese at native-level fluency, English at business level fluency

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous experience with PC or Console online games as a service and live op marketing best practice. Experience with, and knowledge of, the MMO genre preferred.
• Previous experience to work with global marketing team outside of Japan.
• Analytical mindset and a proven ability to make data-driven decisions.
• Excellent verbal and written skills, with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization.
• Ability to write impactful copy that communicates product messaging to the consumer through various touch points including social, web, CRM, advertising and video.
• Adaptable working in a high-volume digital marketing organization supporting multiple projects.
• Passion for playing games.
