As a product management leader, you will be part of the larger technical community at Amazon. This community forms the backbone of the company, plays a critical role in the broad business planning, working closely with senior leaders to develop business targets and resource requirements, influences our long-term technical and business strategy, helps us hire talented team of engineers and ultimately enables us to deliver innovative and operationally sound solutions rapidly.

We are looking for an experienced product manager to help us grow and operate this new business. In this role you will be responsible for thinking big, setting direction and priorities, driving definitions, delivering results, growing customer adoption, and ensuring we exceed all customer expectations.

This position with the AWS Data Protection team represents a unique and rare opportunity to get in on the ground floor within a fast growing business and help shape the technology, product, and business. A successful candidate will bring deep technical and software expertise, strong business acumen and judgment, the ability to define visionary ground breaking products, the ability to hire and grow team members, the desire to have an industry wide impact, and the ability to work within a fast moving, startup environment in a large company to rapidly deliver services that have a broad business impact.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5+ years of product experience, preferably with large scale enterprise / service-based business experience
  • 3+ years of product leadership / management experience in a customer facing role
  • Proven success in delivering technology products/services in a high growth environment
  • Data-driven decision making and quantitative analysis skills
  • BA/BS required; BS in Computer Science / Engineering / Mathematics plus MBA preferred
