Senior Manager, Program Management Driver Support

We are looking for a dynamic, resourceful, and organized Senior Manager that can develop the right team to drive innovation and execute new strategies across the key technology pieces that support the most critical components of this rapidly scaling operation.

The right leader in this role will drive broad adoption and provide unparalleled customer experience. They will lead the organization through change, evolution, and sustained growth. They will evolve and scale the organization along with the business. They will lead by example, being just as passionate about operational performance and predictability as they are about all other aspects of the customer experience. With the business growing this rapidly, this leader will not have the luxury of having tunnel-vision for any one area; rather, this individual will need to exhibit excellent judgment on how to prioritize between focusing on existing versus new customers and between features, architectural improvements and operational excellence.

In this program management role, you will be responsible to ensure strong connections between our product teams and the Driver Support organization. You will connect new ideas to the organization, perform research and analysis, and establish and audit processes all the way to product release. You must be a customer focused individual. This position requires strong self-motivation, people leadership, and project management skills and the ideal candidate will have the ability to work closely with both operations and technology to develop automated solutions for complex, technology and market-related challenges. This position is part of the worldwide transportation strategy and technology team, with global responsibility.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create the vision for tools and processes that make crowd-sourced delivery possible and realizes our operational strategic vision
  • Identify opportunities, create business cases, and champion your vision to build organizational alignment
  • Work cross functionally with development, operations, and other product managers to deliver groundbreaking logistics technology
  • Define, prioritize, and plan the resources needed for programs/projects to be delivered on time
  • Monitor project execution and ensure that the project delivery is to the appropriate levels of quality and in line with its target date, ensuring the overall integrity within the program
  • Successful candidates will be excellent communicators, curious, highly motivated and effective within distributed teams

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 10+ years relevant work experience in Program Management
  • Experience managing teams of 5+ Program Managers
  • Expertise in Logistics, Operations, Fulfillment and/or Supply Chain
  • Experience shaping business strategy for technical products or services

  • Experience delivering broadly adopted technology products/services in a very high growth environment where priorities shift fast
  • Exhibits excellent business judgment
  • Ability to communicate clearly and compellingly and who understands how to drive a high level of focus and excellence with a strong and talented team
