Senior Manager, Private Pricing Operations - Global Contracts Team Leader

Amazon Web Service's Private Pricing Operations (PPO) team is looking for a talented individual to lead and grow our Global Contracts Team. The Senior Manager, Global Contracts (Private Pricing Operations) will lead a growing global team of 14+ Contract Operations Managers located across the Americas, EMEA, APJ, and the Greater China Region.

This role will be a Leader of Leaders responsible for iterating on and executing the Global Contract Team's vision and goals as we rapidly scale to support AWS' Private Pricing business and expand our contract drafting capabilities to manage increasingly complex private pricing agreements. This role is highly visible to senior AWS senior leaders and will be responsible for scaling a rapidly growing multi-billion dollar business. This leader, directly and via their management team, is responsible for leading the Global Contracts team and responsibilities include:

  • Running daily operations and building mechanisms to capture metrics to measure team efficiency
  • Interviewing, hiring, and building/maintaining team
  • Consistently looking for ways to invent and simplify existing processes and remove roadblocks
  • Executing and delivering results on strategic initiatives across cross functional and organizations teams

• 5+ years' experience leading a team
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
• 5+ years legal experience, or law degree, or strong finance background demonstrating a high level of analytical aptitude


• Ability to create and execute team goals/vision
• Ability to handle problems/efforts (decisions, escalations), mitigate complexity risks (deconstructs into appropriate simplicity), and make trade-offs
• Excellent organizational skills, ability to manage multiple projects at once, follow through and meet deadlines
• Executive level written and oral communication skills
• Common sense, great judgment, and a good sense of humor
