Amazon seeks a Senior Financial Analyst to play a key role on the Consumer Engagement products Finance team. The successful candidate will be a strategic thinker, analytical, customer obsessed, and have a demonstrated ability to effectively business partner with senior leaders.

The Senior Financial Analyst will support the Shopping Foundations team and partner with Consumer Engagement product leaders to provide strategic guidance and thought leadership for short and long-range planning and analytical decision support for evaluating project impact and prioritization. This role requires a self-starter with business modeling skills, a keen attention to detail and a track record of influencing business partners with data-driven decision making. The CE Products organization is comprised of product and tech teams focused on customer experience features and products. Partnering to influence this organization requires strong business acumen, ability to deal with ambiguity, and strong verbal and written communication skills.

Key responsibilities will include:
• Partner between finance, product, and senior leadership to drive business results
• Provide insights to business partners including cost-saving initiatives and process improvement recommendations
• Deep dives on business inputs to identify product gaps and opportunities
• Enhance and scale existing tools, develop agile processes, design and implement new solutions
• Financial support of monthly business reviews, quarterly and annual planning cycles


• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business or a related analytical field
• 5+ years of relevant experience without a Master's degree, or Master's degree with 3+ years of relevant experience


• Experience with financial reporting
• Highly analytical and detail-oriented
• Financial modeling and analysis skills
• Proven ability to meet tight deadlines and prioritize workload
• Ability to develop new ideas and creative solutions
• Customer focus and professional demeanor
• Ability to structure ambiguous problems and perform analysis
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
