Amazon seeks a Senior Financial Analyst to join the Global Amazon Gift Cards finance organization. The Senior Financial Analyst will provide timely analysis, insightful guidance, and financial leadership to a multi-billion and fast growing segment of the Company. The Gift Cards business operates in all regions Amazon has a Retail presence and comprises multiple channels including: Consumer, B2B and Brick & Mortar (B&M).

Key job responsibilities include:

  • Update Forecasts and P&Ls (revenue, costs and free cash flow)
  • Develop and run financial models to support new initiatives and products
  • Track and report on initiatives to growth the business and optimize profitability both for individual deals and portfolio
  • Report on weekly and monthly financial and operational performance metrics
  • Analyze large data sets to generate additional insights into opportunities and risks
  • Partner with Accounting, Tax, and Treasury on deal approvals and policy issues related to the Gift Card business
  • Build trust with business teams as a finance partner

Basic Qualifications

  • BA/BS degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
  • 5+ years of relevant experience, including finance deep dives

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in SQL or ETL
  • Experience performing quick-study on system architecture
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Desire to exceed expectations and drive positive change in the organization
  • 5+ year of experience in Corporate Finance and FP&A
