• Full cycle product development experience from inception through maturity is important.
• Working simultaneously on projects in different phases is common - understanding the mechanics of ongoing operational excellence and engineering support of manufacturing operations is critical.
• Working in an open collaborative peer environment is a given -flexibility and responsiveness are paramount for success.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
• BS in Electrical Engineering (or similar field)
• 10 + years of experience in electrical, firmware and system level design and development
• Experience bringing wired and wireless networking hardware to production release
• Experience in schematic entry, layout tools and design for manufacturability (familiarity with Altium tool flow is a plus)
• Experience with switching ASICs, microcontrollers, microprocessors, sensors, ADCs, and mixed-signal designs
• Prior experience with delivering products into manufacturing.
• Component qualification and validation.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• MS Electrical Engineering (or similar field)
• Experience designing, developing and certifying Electrical safety systems is desirable.
• Experience with the project management of technical projects a plus
• Experience troubleshooting and resolving EMI/EMC issues
• Experience executing design reviews in front of interdisciplinary teams
• System design interfacing to a wide array of electro-mechanical subsystems and debugging experience
