• Collaborate with internal engineering teams, and partner with leading technology companies around the world
• Contribute in a technical leadership role developing and optimizing backend engines
• Create innovative products, and see them launched in high volume production
As a hands-on scientific leader, you will not only mentor and lead junior scientists but also collaborate with product and engineering leaders to help shape the broader vision for our
services. You will:
• Research algorithms
• Design, implement, test, deploy and maintain innovative software solutions to transform service performance, durability, cost, and security
• Use best practices to ensure a high standard of quality for all of the team deliverables
• Prove properties of business-critical software and systems software
• Work in an agile, startup-like development environment, where you are always working on the most important stuff
• Work with the team to help drive business decisions
• Help hire talented team of engineers and enable us to deliver innovative new solutions.
This position within the Machine Learning team presents a unique and rare opportunity to get in on the ground floor within a fast-growing business and help shape the technology, product and the business. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• M.S or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Math/Stat/Physics or Engineering
• 5+ years of industrial/academic experience in AI/ML
• Proficiency in Python
• Proficiency with ML platforms like TensorFlow, pytorch, mxnet

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• PhD in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science
• Experience in automation
• Experience with building cloud services
• Ability to work in a fast paced and agile development environment
• Demonstrated track record of project delivery for large, cross-functional projects with evolving requirements
• Excellent written and verbal technical communication with an ability to present complex technical information in a clear and concise manner to a variety of audiences
• Customer relationship skills including the ability to discover the true requirements underlying feature requests, and recommend alternative technical and business solutions.
