We are looking for a Developer to be part of a fast paced growing organization within This role reports into Operations and works with a wide cross-section of departments and roles within the global Amazon Incentives Team. The ideal candidate must be a strong self-starter, detail oriented, organized, and able to work on multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. The candidate will also collaborate and consult with key stakeholders in Operations, Sales, Finance and other key partners to assist with prioritized initiatives. This critical position is located at the Amazon headquarters in Seattle, WA.

Primary Responsibilities Include:

  • Design, develop, test, document, and deploy high quality business solutions on the platform using Apex, Visualforce, HTML, CSS, JavaScript and other technologies
  • Customize application, technical development, and implement API connections of related projects as prioritized by the business
  • Focused on customer experience, user efficiencies, solving technical issues, invent creative solutions, and ensure data accuracy across the system
  • Ongoing documentation of the system, changes, and updates
  • Communication with stakeholders and user training
  • support of ~200 users

Basic Qualifications

  • Requires a bachelor's degree
  • 4+ years of professional developer experience
  • 4+ years development experience, with a strong focus on Apex and Visualforce development
  • Ability to read/write SOQL, and SOQL coding background

Preferred Qualifications

  • Coding enthusiast with 3+ years web application development experience, including solid HTML, JavaScript, and CSS
  • Previous role as Consultant
  • Experience developing and delivering solutions to real customer problems with an emphasis on Sales, customer experience, Operations, and/or Marketing issues
  • Confidence working off existing code
  • Admin and Developer Certification
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced, customer driven environment
