Sales Manager, SAS Core Sales and Biz Dev (Level 6)

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Selling Partner Paid Services is seeking a dynamic and motivated Sales Leader for our SAS Core Sales team focused on the recruitment of new Selling Partners into our SAS Core Program. This person will build the team, develop operational mechanisms, set benchmarks and performance goals. Account Executives on this team will be responsible for identifying and building relationships with key influencers and decision-makers within the senior management and executive teams of prospective accounts, along with internal stakeholders and cross- functional teams to create and present compelling solutions that exceed customer expectations.

Core responsibilities:

• Manage a team of 6+ Account Executives to prospect and recruit Selling Partners to achieve quarterly quota targets for both the quantity and quality of Selling Partners enrolled.
• Analyze customer and seller data and make recommendations in order to maximize the potential of the recruited Selling Partners. Execute successfully on the recommended plan.
• Manage complex contract negotiations and serve as a liaison to the legal, tech, program, and product teams within Selling Partner Paid Services.
• Understand and utilize Salesforce.com CRM tools to track all pertinent account information and sales progress as well as forecast and prioritize seller pipeline to achieve monthly/quarterly/annual goals.
• Develop a thorough understanding of the e-commerce industry and competitive environment.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

BA/BS degree
8+ years experience in Sales, Business Development, Vendor Management, Account Management
5+ years experience in Sales Leadership roles leading teams of 6+ Account Executives
Proven track record of presenting to/negotiating with executives (both internal/external)
Team management (exceeding targets, hiring, developing)
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Experience with using data and trends to articulate business needs

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

MBA
eCommerce, retail technology, or software industries experience.
Experience working with legal, product, and internal business owners to reach mutually beneficial agreements.
Experience working with government organizations focused on Small Businesses and Minority Owned Businesses
