Risk and Compliance Senior Manager, Growth Strategies
We are seeking a visionary, results-oriented product and sales leader for a new role that will own growth strategies and field enablement tools for compliance-focused customers. The scope of the role has global responsibilities.
This team lead will cultivate a long-term strategy for how customers understand the value, options, and services for AWS compliance tools and services. The ideal candidate will develop and build tools (including workshops) to facilitate customers, account teams, and consulting to understand how compliance and risk is supported.
The candidate is a seasoned strategist, who is always considering new opportunities to engage and educate customers and partners, while being effective in explaining new ideas, from concept to execution.
Understand and support the global compliance and risk objectives and responsibilities.
Bring new perspective and thinking to influence teams across AWS and customer accounts, driving results, ideally in customer acquisition and account support, service development and/or product innovation.
Create industry-changing, disruptive solutions and education tools that are scalable for how we bring automation for compliance and risk around the world.
Must be comfortable working with complex challenges and understand the value of iteration and delivery.
Enthusiastic problem solver and hands-on leader who combines an entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to think big, and surpass aggressive goals.
Define, develop, and launch new scalable services and tools to help drive migration to AWS environments (highlighting regulated workloads and compliance automation).
Build and implement best practices for compliance automation and customer adoption of AWS regulated environments.
Understand and stay current on competitive market landscape related to compliance and risk assurance.
Educate account teams on current compliance and risk assurance services as well as competitive landscapes.
10+ years of experience in business development, product strategy, and program development.
Demonstrated experience hiring and developing high-performing teams with 7+ years of experience in people management.
5+ years of experience creating "go to market" strategies for feature sets across multiple industries.
Excellent written and oral communication skills, the ability to articulate ideas and persuade stakeholders at all levels.
Delivers on multiple deadlines and priorities compulsively as a self-directed individual, comfortable with a fast-paced, ambiguous environment
Metrics-driven, comfortable with Tableau dashboards or other data visualization tooling, able to analyze service adoption, retention, and roadmap forecasting projections.
Start-up or other entrepreneurial experience.
Practical knowledge of global regulatory environments.
Experience in directing and leading third-party creative agencies and partners.
Experience working with engineering teams to define, scope and prioritize product requirements.
Ability to provide thought leadership that fosters product innovation and business opportunities.
Experience delivering large cross-functional projects by partnering across multiple teams in an e-commerce, customer acquisition, brand development, revenue generation or global environment.
Proven ability to identify and solve ambiguous problems with high judgment.
Working knowledge of user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) best practices.
