Amazon is looking for an Programmatic System Analyst specializing in Campaign Optimization. This individual will own the execution of campaign optimizations at scale. Campaigns will be managed through the Amazon Advertising Platform which includes inventory on both O&O properties as well as inventory sourced through RTB ad exchanges. This individual will be responsible for continued performance improvements across international display advertising campaigns. The ideal candidate must be willing to work hard in a very fast paced, sales driven, dynamic and demanding environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with Programmatic System Analyst team to develop and execute scalable campaign optimization solutions to deliver highly targeted campaign optimizations.
  • Own advertising platform performance across a large volume of campaigns with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Focus on advertising platform tool and process development to drive additional efficiency gains for the program at large
  • Propose and launch innovative optimization tests in an effort to continually improve performance and/or scale
  • Ongoing data analysis to surface data behind campaign success & refined optimization; interpret data relationships & input/output metrics across audience, supply and other targeting parameters
  • Surface campaign learning and testing strategies to the entirety of the campaign management team to promote knowledge share & best practices
  • Partner with the platform product and engineering teams to make recommendations on product enhancements and provide feedback/testing on any critical bugs, fixes or new features
  • Act as a data, platform & optimization expert and resource for sales & account management teams

Basic Qualifications

  • 1-2 years of professional experience, preferably in data analysis, optimization or digital advertising operations-focused role
  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Math, Economics, Finance, Engineering, Computer Science or science-related field
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel and Office.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2 years of professional experience working within the digital advertising industry, preferably programmatic • Strong interpersonal/communication skills.
  • Highly analytical. SQL experience a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Math, Economics, Finance, Engineering, Computer Science or science-related field
  • Excellent problem solving skills
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to multi-task
