Program Manager I

Amazon's International Seller Services organization is seeking an experienced Program manager with excellent Program management and analytical abilities. You are a self-starter, someone who thrives in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment, with an uncanny knack and passion for turning qualitative analysis and observations into diagnostics and metrics? Then you are the right candidate for our team.

In this role you will work closely with cross-functional partners to deliver value to the Customer, defining and meeting the overall project scope within timelines, and effectively managing change across workstreams. Projects and stakeholders will be in disparate geographic locations, and require strong communication skills to coordinate requirements from customers within teams across your region. You will focus on planning and initiation efforts within the organization, working directly with customers to collect requirements, analyze business cases and organize reviews with internal teams.

Key Responsibilities:
• Owning & driving intiatives from end to end.
• Reactively and proactively developing and executing analyses that provide important insight into the business
• Designing and implementing self-service reporting solutions that enable stakeholders to manage the business and make effective decisions
• Monitoring existing metrics and partnering with internal teams to identify process and system improvement opportunities.
• Retrieving and analyzing data using SQL, Excel, and other data management systems.


• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, Finance, Statistics or related discipline.
• 1+ years experience in program management/analytics or relevant role.
• Strong enthusiasm to provide superb customer service to the leadership team and other key stakeholders
• Ability to build scalable mechanisms to bring order and structure to situations of ambiguity.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills including proficiency in SQL is needed. (all join types, group by, order by, calculated columns).
• Advanced Excel skills (e.g. working on huge datasets, write/edit VBA).
• Experience working with and driving efficiencies through office productivity tools like Sharepoint, datasets.


• Professional experience involving need to write effectively e.g. management consulting, knowledge management, IT project management.
• Should be able to think through unclear situations and come up with a specific framework to drive program improvement and metrics
• Proven track record in taking on end-to-end ownership and successfully delivering results in a fast-paced, dynamic business environment is strongly preferred.
