The EU Direct Fulfillment (DF) are looking to hire a skilled and motivated Program Manager to lead the EU DF Vendor Onboarding team. This role will serve as a key contributor to the future technology roadmap for driving continuous improvement and automation as well as the long term vision of Direct Fulfillment within Amazon's Supply Chain Optimization Technologies (SCOT) team.

To be successful in this role, you need to make data-driven decisions that will have direct impact on the customer experience. The role requires interaction and with multiple stakeholders (both internal and external). You will be working towards finding solutions and removing blockers.
In the role of DF Onboarding Manager, we expect you to own all aspects of the new vendor onboarding and integration process, evaluating and iteratively improving the onboarding processes, as well as managing vendor onboarding escalations from partner teams. You will create the long-term strategy, designing, and building vendor's onboarding and training experience to support growth in the DF business. You will also collaborate with retail leaders across product families and locales.
You will focus on features and process improvements that enable DF to quickly and effectively onboard new vendors. You will also work with multiple partner teams, including Retail Vendor Managers and Category Leads to define onboarding requirements and solutions that meet stakeholder needs. Additionally, you will manage a team of 2-4 DF Onboarding Specialists who execute on the vision and manage the day-to-day onboarding steps.
The successful candidate will have a combination of customer and vendor focus, the ability to understand and work with technical supply chain systems and the ability to understand business drivers and help grow our business. You will be comfortable communicating goals and updates with cross-functional Senior Leaders, while also working tactically with other Program Managers and Vendor Managers to define requirements. Willing to "roll up your sleeves" and dive into tactical work in order to better identify solutions to your team's problems. Most critical will be the ability to operate at a bigger picture and tactical level in designing operations and improvement programs, while simultaneously ensuring rigor in operational execution as a key member of the EU team.
The position will require up to 25% travel.
• Proven managerial experience
• Proven experience in Retail, customer service, supply chain, logistics or transportation
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations, Logistics, Business or related fields
• Intermediate to advanced Excel proficiency, including pivot tables and V-lookups
• Fluency in English is required, command over written English
• Proven experience working in retail procurement or vendor management
• Basic understanding of SQL
• Experience working with ambiguity, conflicting priorities and a multi-cultural and matrix environment
