To join us on this journey, we are looking for individuals with strong analytical and dive deep skills who will execute high-level network decisions that have an impact at a big scale. This is a high visibility role responsible for pioneering Amazon's Centralized Labor Planning (CLP) process with the central operations organization.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE
Working with FC and regional leadership teams to complete weekly capacity plans. Your work will guide Fulfillment Centers (FCs) through capacity planning decisions and staffing solutions for thousands of associates.
Build the foundation and implement an innovative model for centralized labor planning across NACF.
Deliver action plans for senior managers and directors, while being a trusted partner to these network leaders.
Leverage central teams (i.e. S&OP, Central Flow, Process Engineering) to drive process and operations execution improvements. Use data and bias for action to work through ambiguity and deliver results.
Driving small to medium operational enhancement projects to Think Big and innovate on behalf of our customer.
Proven expertise managing, evaluating, and quickly analyzing to create meaningful business impact.
Ability to develop strategic relationships with your business partners. You can root cause issues quickly and uncover trends using data; then assist, consult with, and teach the business how decisions benefit our associates and customers.
You can make meaningful contributions with competing priorities and deliver decisions during unexpected events.
This position can sit in Seattle, WA, Phoenix, AZ, Austin, TX, Nashville, TN, or Arlington, VA. This role will include about 10% travel- primarily to support FC operations, Regional Leadership events, and PPT conferences.
BA/BS degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or Engineering
1-2 years' experience in positions that require analysis and influencing stakeholders from data interpretation.
Experience within a distribution center, logistics, or manufacturing environment.
Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (i.e. SQL, QuickSight, Excel VBA) Amazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace.
