Principal/Senior Product Manager

If you have a strong background in analytics and love the business strategy aspect of a product role, this role is for you. We are looking for a seasoned Product Manager with strong technical background to own Marketing Insights & Valuation. In this role, you will envision and build personalized, curated, and seamless voice shopping discovery experiences for customers around the world.

Key responsibilities will include:
• Developing mechanisms that programmatically identify and deliver delightful feature recommendations to Alexa Shopping customers globally across a variety of marketing channels.
• Building the data infrastructure that feed Alexa data into Amazon decision-making systems (e.g., A/B testing),
• Creating scalable data insights across the customer lifecycle,
• Partnering closely with Economists, Data Scientists and Software Engineers to improve the experimentation infrastructure for voice interactions and Alexa Shopping features, and
• Driving inclusion for all customers, regardless of age, location, or ability, so that everyone can successfully navigate the new age of ambient computing.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's Degree
• 5+ years of experience in product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology
• Experience with end to end product delivery
• Experience overseeing roadmap strategy and definition
• Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
• Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
• Analytical background, such as coursework or practice in relational database design, data manipulation in R or Python, or data science, which allows you to write a highly technical data product road map.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS• Advanced degree or certificates/ training in data science, machine learning, computer science, predictive analytics, statistics, or comparable field
• Experience writing strategy for data products (predictive models, data pipelines, etc.)
