As a Principal Technical Product Manager for the Sponsored Products team, you'll be responsible for defining the technical strategy for how ads integrate with the retail website. You'll develop strategies for how to monetize ads on search and product detail pages, while still maintaining a good shopper experience. You'll define the right metrics to track customer behavior to drive long-term business growth. You'll develop new ad experiences to improve shopper engagement with advertising. You'll work with scientists, engineers and economists to build systems which learn and optimize placement and pricing of ads on Amazon.
• 8+ years of technical product management, program management or engineering experience
• 2+ years of experience with end to end product delivery
• Experience leading engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
• Experience owning roadmap strategy and definition
• Experience owning feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
• Bachelor's Degree
Superior written and verbal communication skills
Strategic thinker with high attention to detail
Proven ability to extract and analyze data to make product decisions
* Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field
Prior experience in digital advertising
