Principal Product Manager-Technical, Product Assurance

You should have strong problem-solving skills, product management knowledge, mature communication skills, an understanding of tech systems and applications. This role will report into the Seattle based global product team that builds technology tools and solution to enable Amazon's global Product Assurance, Risk and Security (PARS) initiatives. This team owns technology products that span all of Amazon's consumer and retail business such as Amazon.com, Amazon Private Brands, Whole Foods Market, Physical Stores, Amazon Fresh/Prime Now, Amazon's third party fulfillment business, etc. You will gain the opportunity to interact and work with emerging businesses at Amazon from inception through growth phases. This role will report into the global product team that enables and support Amazon's Product Assurance and Risk initiatives. One of our primary goal is to ensure our has the right technology and controls in place to support our safety and compliance goals. This role is inherently cross-functional-the professional will work closely with various partner teams across Amazon (product and engineering), SME, fulfillment operations, finance, legal, safety and compliance, and their respective executive teams to bring products to market, develop and grow business opportunities, and enhance our existing tech products and features. You should be passionate about , inventory management, and traceability. Prior experience working in product management, managing tech roadmaps, retail, and is preferred.
You should possess the ability to influence people across the organization, creating win-win solutions, and the desire to support innovation at Amazon. To do this, you should enjoy managing complex initiatives across numerous business models; create certainty out of ambiguous requirements, while having a firm grasp over the operational, strategic, and technical vision of the product. A successful candidate will be perceptive, resourceful, customer-focused, and will have an ability to innovate. This role will require collaboration with multi-org partner engineering teams to drive the product roadmaps.
• Bachelor's Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or related fields
• 10+ years of product management experience with completion of full product lifecycle (from concept through GTM)
• Experience with end to end product delivery; Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product; Experience overseeing roadmap strategy and definition.
• Knowledge of basic query, data analysis, and cost-benefit analysis.
• MBA or Masters in or Masters in technical field.
• Knowledge of software development, coding, and software architecture preferred.
• Experience in retail, ecommerce, , operations, or logistics preferred
