Amazon's DSP Solutions team seeks a Principal Product Manager to develop and implement overarching business strategy. The Amazon DSP operates across a number of sales channel, service models, and pricing models. This complexity requires a Principal PM to develop a strategic approach to which areas to invest and divest. This role will build and operate a unifying business model to address this complexity. Starting with the customer first, you will develop multi-year plans across sales channels, service models, and pricing models. You will conduct competitive reviews to identify opportunities and risks for the business. This leader will partner with the wider sales, marketing, product and engineering organizations across Amazon Advertising to ensure alignment with key pillars of the business. This position will be responsible for strategic planning, financial analysis, and resource recommendation for the overall business. This role is also a customer facing position and will require the ability to build relationships with senior leaders to develop and assess external requirements. The position will report to the Head of DSP Solutions.

As a Principal Product Manager you will be responsible for:
• Establish portfolio strategy, goals and investment plans. Govern business development efforts, including research, requirements definition, metrics analysis, and launch efforts
• Oversee all facets of business strategy by evaluating the business and competitive landscape, understanding customer needs and value drivers
• Write strategy documentation and ensure clear communication and coordination of product needs for the business and product development teams
• Work cross-functionally to manage bottlenecks, provide escalation management, anticipate and make trade-offs, balance the business needs versus technical constraints, and maximize business benefit while building great customer experiences
• Measure and analyze existing products for opportunities to innovate and improve, providing additional benefits to customers
• Research and identify new and big opportunities
• Present confidently to Amazon senior executives as well as other internal and external audiences


• 8+ years of technical product management, program management or engineering experience
• 2+ years of experience with end to end product delivery
• Experience leading engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
• Experience owning roadmap strategy and definition
• Experience owning feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
• Bachelor's Degree
• 1+ years of experience with end to end product delivery

• Experience with product cycles of 6+ months

• 8+ years of experience in product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology


• 3+ years of experience in online advertising and ad technologies
• MBA, Master of CS, or similar
• 10+ years in digital advertising technology
• Sound business and technical judgment as well as ability to think creatively, analyze quantitatively, problem-solve, scope technical requirements and prioritize
• Strong analytical capabilities, hands-on data analysis skills a plus
• Experience in delivering technology products/services in a high growth environment, with a demonstrated ability to translate customer needs into business and product requirements
• Sound business judgment, proven ability to influence others, and strong analytical thinking skills are critical to success in this position
• Successful history of shipping innovative products
• Demonstrated analytical and quantitative skills, ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions and develop business cases
