Principal Product Manager - Ext. Services, Kinesis Data Firehose
- Palo Alto, CA
Enable businesses to deliver data-reactive solutions by innovating with Kinesis Data Firehose
When you look at modern automobiles, websites and applications, and web-connected devices, one aspect they all have in common is they provide value by reacting to data. These solutions are powered by a variety of AWS services including Kinesis Data Firehose (KDF), which is an AWS service that makes it easier for businesses to react to high throughput, high velocity, and highly diverse data at petabyte scale. In near real-time, customers use KDF to capture data as it's generated from a few to 10's of thousands of applications and devices, including but not limited to website or application click streams, machines, IoT devices, and log agents. Once collected KDF can transform the data inline into a format that is ready for processing while delivering this data to a destination, like a data lake or data warehouse where insights are derived. KDF's mission is to enable customers to react faster to data regardless of the source or destination for this data, and we are seeking a Principal Product Manager to look around the corner to define what's next and lead the product along this journey.
Our team is focused on balancing life with work, and does this via work autonomy and by prioritizing solutions and processes that enable us to scale faster than the business. While the office is located in Palo Alto California, working remotely is supported, and oftentimes encouraged. Work hours are flexible and typically self-defined.
Mentorship and Career Growth
One of the keys to AWS's success is its top-tier product management culture. You will be working closely with a talented team of engineers and managers that will push your technical abilities while you bring new innovations to a widely adopted and fast growing product.
Inclusive and Diverse Culture
You should be excited about working with a world-class team that welcomes, celebrates, and leverages a diverse set of backgrounds and skillsets to deliver results.
