Interested in Machine Learning and AI? Our team's mission is to make machine learning easy, stronger, and universal. We do this by developing managed ML services, unmanaged ML services, Human in the loop ML services and Inference services. We also develop custom algorithms, frameworks, and ML tools. Human in Loop service (Sagemaker Ground Truth and A2I) leverages machine and humans to enable customers to produce good quality training data sets which they can use for training their machine learning models. It supports use-cases for text, documents, NLP, image classification, object detection, semantic segmentation, Video and 3D point cloud.
We are looking for an experienced Operation Program Manager to establish and execute the complex and ambiguous processes that span numerous systems and organizations. They will be a highly visible role that will own the communication, coordination, and execution of a multi-year program vision. They will work with product, operations and engineering leaders to define strategy and requirements. Managing numerous complex systems and organizations, they will be expected to identify and manage the execution risk and issues and clearly communicate goals, roles, and responsibilities. Working cross-functionally, they will identify and secure commitment from tech teams across the company for new initiatives, driving consensus on the technical approach. The ideal candidate will have a well-rounded, process oriented as well as a history of leading large projects end-to-end. They will own the team efforts to coordinate and unify road efforts across multiple internal and external organizations They will also identify opportunities to converge overlapping technical efforts, and drive the long-term strategy and manage the roadmap, change management process. Maturity, high level judgment, negotiation skills, ability to influence, analytical talent, and leadership are essential to success.
This role will tap into their ability to wear multiple hats, working with product, engineering, customers and customer service teams to address issues/solve new challenges and shape the business. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated, energetic individual to have a large impact business unit within. Strong interpersonal skills are also important.

As the Program Manager, your responsibilities will include:

• Develop key processes, policies, metrics and performance indicators to measure overall annotation performance and provide foundation for continuous improvement.
• Work directly with various internal and external annotation workforces, product and engineering teams to ensure best user experience in the product and it is optimized for cost and quality
• Identify and execute on opportunities for improving customer experience and reducing delivery cost through data analysis.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to execute programs.
• Clarify and drive short-term project priorities and commitments, as well as establish and maintain clear chains of project management and accountability.
• Developing and effectively communicating strategies & plans in narrative format.
. Run programs with marketing/PR, customer service and Billing/accounting teams

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of relevant work experience in Program management, process improvement and/or digital/high-technology companies/products.
• 2+ years of experience as program manager in leadership role.
• Experience with agile or other program management methodologies.
• Leveraging technology to invent, improve, and scale.
• Proven ability to meet tight deadlines, multi-task, and prioritize workload
• Experience in Microsoft Excel, SQL.


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Ability to handle the day-to-day management of tasks, prioritization and resolution of problems and issues and experience in implementing action plans to meet objectives.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills and the ability to express thoughts logically and succinctly.
• Self-starter and possesses flexibility to work in a fast-changing environment and ambiguous situations.
